The Professional Women’s Network (PWN), founded in 1997, consists of over 800 members with a diverse array of backgrounds, ranging from students to individuals in the corporate, professional and entrepreneurial areas.
The PWN offers a comfortable, sophisticated environment for effective networking, education and business development. Meetings are held monthly from September to June. Each meeting includes an opportunity to network and a presentation by a respected business leader or expert on a topic of interest to women in business.
The aim of the PWN is to help raise the stature of women in business through education and opportunities for business and career development. In a variety of ways, including by doing business together, PWN members help each other work through and remove barriers to women’s success in business.
The PWN supports and frequently partners with several other B.C. women’s business organizations for events and programs aligned with the PWN’s aims.
