Mentoring Relationships: Where to Find Them, How to Mind Them @ Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP

Experienced professionals are keen to help younger women, but aren’t sure what’s needed or how they might help. Newer professionals are hanging out for guidance from their female elders, but aren’t sure where to find it — and when they do find themselves in a formal program or with a willing guide, they aren’t sure what to do or expect. Some mentoring pairs click right away, but most find it a bit awkward at first. After all, we are all human, and these are relationships.

Join Andrea Rayment for a candid discussion about what you can do to find the mentoring partner you need, how to navigate the early days, and how to keep things on track. This practical session will focus on tips and stories rather than easy formulas—as Brené Brown would say, get ready to rumble!
